Tim Laick is the principal and founder of Lakehouse Tax & Accounting Services.  Tim is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from Wheeling Jesuit University.  He began his career in a "big four" accounting firm providing fiduciary tax services to large banks with a concentration in trusts and estates.  From there, Tim moved to work for a local accounting firm gaining experience serving individuals and closely-held businesses.  In this position, Tim also broadened his skill set by participating in attestation engagements and issuing financial statements.  Tim's most recent experience is working for a large, multinational partnership operating in the professional services industry.  In this position, Tim expanded his background in compliance related to federal taxation of pass-through entities, state and local taxation, sales and use tax, and various other indirect taxes.  This diverse professional background has enabled Tim to be uniquely qualified to serve his clients' various needs.

Tim resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife Jackie, daughter Julia, and son Lewis.
